Ti-Ratana, a community centre created as a centre of hope, sharing and growth caters the needs of children, young adults and senior citizens, regardless of race or creed. The centre runs several neighbouring homes in Salak Selatan, which includes a Children’s Home and Orphanage; housing approximately 200 orphans and victims of abuse, a Senior Citizens’ Home with 50 odd occupants and a Shelter Home for Women.
The visiting Serunai Team represented by Doreen Low and Rosalynd Low, was treated to a tour around the centre, and were able to spend some quality time interacting with the senior citizens and children. Clearly starved of affection, the kids were overjoyed by the presence of our lovely ladies. The Serunai Team was able to contribute to the centre's worthy cause by donating various cookies, chocolates and candies.
